Portugal YPN IAHR
IAHR Portugal Young Professionals Network (IAHR PT YPN) was born as a group of young professionals and researchers among members of the International Assossiation for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR). This group corresponds to the Portuguese section of IAHR YPN, which are spread worldwide: the United States of America, Germany, Greece, France, Spain, United Kingdom, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Colombia, Chile, among several other around the world!
In the year of 2014, at the 3rd Europe Congress of IAHR, in Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto, the first milestone was placed. In a meeting organised by the IAHR top members and with the collaboration of University of Coimbra, the decision of creating an Portuguese YPN was made. In the beginning of 2015, IAHR Portugal YPN was born with a group of young professionals aiming to provide their contribution in the field of hydro-environment engineering and research, also seeking a generalized improvement of their society’s value.
